The S.T.A.B.L.E. Program: Stabilization Care of Sick Infants



S.T.A.B.L.E 

     The S.T.A.B.L.E. Program is the widely accepted neonatal post-resuscitation/pre-transport stabilization educational and clinical tool. "S.T.A.B.L.E." stands for the 6 assessment parameters covered in the program: Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support for the family. S.T.A.B.L.E. is considered by neonatal educators to be the follow-up, complementary program to the AAP/AHA Neonatal Resuscitation Program.

Audience:
     For pediatricians, emergency physicians, family physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers who initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies.
